TUXEDO Computers has launched its first AMD-Only Linux Laptop featuring AMD Ryzen 5 3500U CPU and an AMD Radeon Vega 8 GPU. This laptop claims to provide 25 hours of battery life in power-saving idle mode.

The TUXEDO Book BA15 is the first Linux-powered laptop from TUXEDO Computers and most importantly, it comes only with the AMD components.  This laptop comes with the pre-installed Linux Operating System.

The TUXEDO Book BA15 is a thin and elegant laptop that runs on an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U CPU and an AMD Radeon Vega 8 GPU. The Laptop uses AMD only chips and said to provide powerful processing power to run todays applications. The AMD Ryzen 5 3500U CPU and an AMD Radeon Vega 8 GPU combination are expected to provide good performance.

The Ryzen 5 3500U mobile processor comes with 8 threads and 4 cores, which power-efficient and comes with the energy saving features. This laptop comes with a huge 91Wh battery, which provides long-lasting performance through the day. According to the TUXEDO Computers, laptop can run up to 25 hours in power-saving mode.

The chassis of this laptop is made up of durable magnesium alloy for the display cover and base unit. The Company used aluminum for manufacturing the bottom panel of this laptop.

The TUXEDO Book BA15 laptop comes with a backlit keyboard and TUX branded, super-key is present as well.

This Linux based laptop is featuring up to 32GB DDR4 2666Mhz Samsung RAM, up to 4TB Samsung 860 EVO (M.2 SATAIII) SSD, Intel Dual AC 3168 or Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n/ax wireless card, and up to Bluetooth 5.1. So, the hardware configuration is good to run latest applications.
